Wednesday March 25th proved to be a successful day for kids attending Easter Seals summer camp. The Foodservice Industry came together for the 6th annual Friends of We Care Foodservice Cup hockey tournament at the Sports Village Arena in Vaughan. FOODSERVICE AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY CELEBRATES
Friends of We Care Foundation Inc. organization celebrated 26 years of Being Inspired to help children with physical disabilities. Through the generous support of the foodservice and hospitality industry, a cheque for over $1 million was presented to The Easter Seal Society, Canada on Saturday, April 25 at the International Centre. City TV's Breakfast Television host Kevin Frankish emceed the event which through the contributions, will assist in sending close to 5,000 Canadian children with physical disabilities from across the country to special camps this summer. 15th Labatt Charity Golf Classic @ Rattlesnake Point.
You are invited to join the family of Labatt partners and friends who have raised over $1 million dollars in support of a great cause -- Friends of We Care.
Our objective is to better last year when the Labatt Charity Golf Classic raised more than $85,000 that went directly to the kids.

450 Days at Camp From We Care Bowling Challenge
Close 300 participants raised over $90,000 at this years We Care Bowling Challenge. Congratulations to SYSCO Canada for being the top fundraising team, followed closely by Cardinal Meat Specialists, Janes Family Foods and Gordon Food Services. A special thanks to all the companies and individuals who donated product, goodies for the pails and volunteered there time during the day.
Over $22,000 Raised B.C. We Care Bowling Challenge
Congratulations to the 30 teams that participated at the Pajama Party - 7th Annual We Care Bowling Challenge in B.C. on November 19th. Through your efforts, over $22,000 was raised for Easter Seal kids attending summer camp in B.C. Many thanks to Carol Moffatt and her committee, along with the team at the B.C. Lions Society - Christine Robb & Lyndsay for all their hard work and effort in making the day a big success. See Picture Gallery for photo's from the day.
Over $20,000 Raised at We Care Ski Day
The sun was shining, over 100 people skiied, raising over $20,000, allowing Friends of We Care to provide 100 days at camp. Many thanks to everyone who participated. Please see the write up in the newsletter section, along with photo's in the picuture gallery.
