Dino Delazzari accepts Volunteer Recognition plaque

If you have attended a Friends of We Care event, you have probably been the beneficiary of one of the many services our volunteers provide. These individuals often arrive in the early hours of the morning and stay until the last box is packed up for the day.

Most of their many tasks go unseen and unnoticed by those attending the event, but they help make the flow of the day seamless.

Friends of We Care recognized one such individual at our last members meeting.

Dino Delazzari arrived at the members meeting October 26^th believing he was coming to do what Dino does ... help make the dreams of another child come true by doing whatever task is required of him at many of our fundraising events. Instead, he was called upon to receive a plaque ... a small token of appreciation from Friends of We Care.

There are a couple of special things to note about Dino ... first of all ... he is not even a member of our dynamic industry yet he is willing to help out in any way possible to help the Friends of We Care cause.

Secondly ... he has been the trustworthy friend of Kevin Collins, Executive Director, for the past 16 years and has been helping kids with physical disabilities whenever Kevin has needed him. That, in itself, deserves an award!
