Kary Lyn and Kelly Baxter accept Volunteer Recognition plaques from Friends of We Care Chair - Bill O'Brien.

For those attending Friends of We Care events, you have probably been the beneficiary of one of the many services our volunteers provide.  These individuals often arrive in the early hours of the morning and stay until the last box is packed up for the day.

Most of their many tasks go unseen and unnoticed by those attending the event, but they help make the flow of the day seamless.

Friends of We Care recognized two of these individuals at our last members meeting on October 25, 2007.

Kary Lyn and Kelly Baxter have been volunteering their time and effort to We Care for over 8 years.  They come out to almost all our events and help in anyway they can.  You will see them stuffing welcome packages, setting up raffle and silent auction tables, monitoring hole in one contests, and just about anything else that is asked of them.

These two sisters have been outstanding and very dependable volunteers for not only our organization, but through a variety of Easter Seals events as well.  They are true believers in our cause and exemplify what it takes to helping make the dreams come true for children with physical disabilities.
